"Waiting for Contact II" is the 2016 sequel to the ill-fated and currently unreleased 1990 film "Waiting for Contact". Inspired by the current wave of reboots and late sequels, the American production company and internet startup, Metamodern Prometheus, purchased the rights to a sequel and commissioned Andrew Henry to score the film. "Waiting for Contact II" is scheduled for release in the 4th quarter of 2016.
