This album is a compilation of music I completed within the year 2013. I've always had a fondness for sampling, so I employed the idea with these pieces. The samples originate from existing pieces of music and parts of unreleased material of my own.

But in employing sampling, I did not resort to an obvious usage of melody/vocals within a new context. I used cassette tape looping, delays, reverb, time stretching, and EQ to twist the samples into completely different droning, ambient animals. It's possible to detect some of them, but most remain altered enough to sound quite different.

The only exceptions to the sampling are in "Midnight at Eat'n Park", whose second half is based upon my own recording, and "The Sound of Everything Dying" which is a series of loops of my voice down-pitched, delayed, and reverb'd to a great extent.
